Quinta Vale D. Maria

Located in the heart of the Douro Region, along the Rio Torto valley, Quinta Vale D. Maria's history goes back more than 250 years in family hands. Since 2017, Aveleda preserved Cristiano van Zeller's vision for a new Douro and for producing wines that reflect the region's identity.
At Quinta Vale D. Maria the 45 hectares of vines have 41 different grape varieties planted, on south, south-east, south-west, east and west facing slopes. Some vines are as young as 12 years old and others as old as 100, the diversity is immerse, so each vineyard in unique. The wines from Quinta Vale D. Maria reflect an authentic Douro character and are about personality, excitment, pleasure, fun, reliability, innovation, people and life.
